Analytics – Is the measurement plan enough?
MEASURING is not enough…
Do you think that measuring is enough to improve results?
Currently most projects and companies are clear that they must allocate resources to obtain data to improve their results, but from there, things start to get a little complicated…
I’m going to summarize you in 5 levels that we are facing this:
– They have Google Analytics > as it is free , the script is easy to include and immediately gives a lot of data…well they already have analytics , bravo!!!
– They have done some tuning and checked reliability > they know their basic KPIs and are somewhat more aware of their data but either there are few or they don’t know what they are good for
– They have taken care to generate tailored analytics to understand their users’ interaction and know what their KPIs are > but they don’t cross data or don’t know what to do with so much of it
– They have an advanced analytics cross data, with defined KPIs, accuracy and match rates, they know their customer journeys and control their funnels, but they have already spent the budget on measuring and nobody analyzes the data.
And of course there are also many projects that have it all, that right now they are doing great and they are in the fight to lead growth in their verticals.
A good analytics system goes from STRATEGY to technical development, NEVER the other way around.
