Top 5 GA4 failures

Top 5 GA4 failures

These are the 5 flaws that make GA4 not yet a suitable tool for exploitation in advanced projects.

1.- Latency – reports can take up to 3 days to show consolidated data > do we really have to wait three days to see the real data from yesterday in Analytics?

2.- Poor reports – they are much simpler than in UA, especially those for ecommerce, they use preprocessed tables and do not match each other, the data will not be reliable especially when applying segmentations and/or secondary dimensions and they are not flexible either, not even in explorations.

With UA we are used to obtaining information from almost any combination of dimensions and metrics, in GA4 many times some are not available so you will constantly find limitations.

3.- Filtering – having a fairly automatic capture part and lacking filters, depending on the project you can have quite contaminated data.

4.- Options to share elements, segments, reports … very limited, prevents working as a team.

5.- Despite being a tool designed to complement the data with statistical models of users who have not given their consent to cookies, how is it possible that it does not work well with Google’s own consent mode framework? If among other things it has been done for that!!

Anyway, even with a significant level of immaturity, the migration must be carried out sooner rather than later, if you want to trust experts for this challenge, here you have more information and you can contact us https://lnkd.in/dD9yFzP8
