Analysis before action

Analysis before action

Einstein used to say that whenever he faced a problem, he reserved 90% of his time to analyze it and only 10% to solve it.

The current trend of “Just Do It”, increasing pressure felt by business leaders for immediate results, the desire to take action, to publicize and give visibility to the company or the new product or service, is understandable, and we are sensitive to it. But you can only act effectively after sufficient analysis and preparation.

It is an extra effort, repressing the tendency to immediate results. Efficiency and speed come later as a consequence.

Think beyond the immediate:

What is the assumption that we do not believe will change, and what happens if it does?
Can we improve the efficiency of our funnel?
Are there ramifications for new business models?
What will customers need or demand in the future?

Try this mindset , MEASURE – ANALYZE – ACT.
